Another day of monitoring of openness and transparency of conducting creative exams has been initiated by Akmal Burkhanov, Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, together with Abduqodir Toshqulov, Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, who visited two higher education institutions and oversaw the process of exams and their live Internet broadcast.
The monitoring in the Nizomiy Tashkent State Pedagogical University and the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan showed that both higher educational institutions fully met the requirements of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. DP-6247, which provide for transparency of creative exams and prevention of corruption risks in the testing process.
Test processes are also available online on imtihon.edu.uz web platform, which is open to all users.
All exam rooms and buildings have 24-hour webcams. A waiting area is organized for parents next to the exam rooms, so they have the opportunity to observe the entire process.
Representatives of the public and the media were also involved in order to ensure a transparent, open and fair conduct of creative examinations.
The Anti-Corruption Agency will monitor the level of openness and transparency of the examination processes for the 2022-2023 academic year, and the quality of live Internet broadcasts of tests and creative exams.
If you face with cases of corruption during exams or cases of non-compliance with the procedure for conducting live Internet broadcasts, call the Anti-Corruption Agency’s Call Center - ‘1253’, write to Telegram @EduAntiCorruptionBot or call the hotline of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education - ‘1006.’
