Targeted Trainings Organized in Tashkent for Compliance Control Officers
To effectively arrange the implementation of priority tasks, outlined by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at an expanded meeting of the National Anti-Corruption Council on March 5 this year, targeted trainings were organized on August 20-21 in Tashkent to improve the efficiency of internal anti-corruption control units (compliance control) of government agencies and organizations.
More than 500 officers of compliance control units of central, regional and subordinate organizations of government bodies and organizations attended the trainings.
The program included an analysis of the main regulatory documents adopted in the field, work with e-anticor.uz platform and its new module, as well as an analysis of errors made based on the results of the 2024 rating assessment.
The officers were engaged in practical classes provided by invited foreign experts on managing conflicts of interest, assessing the tolerance of civil servants to corruption risks, as well as applying advanced foreign experience and methods for reducing them.
In addition, based on the results of the study and analysis of the problems identified during the implementation of the internal anti-corruption control system in government agencies and organizations, proposals and recommendations for further improvement of activities were developed.
The trainings were organized within the framework of the joint project ‘Strengthening the National Anti-Corruption Ecosystem in Uzbekistan’, implemented by the Anti-Corruption Agency and UNDP with the financial support of the European Union.
