Measures Are Taken to Suppress the Entrepreneurial Activities of Officials

The Anti-Corruption Agency has conducted studies based on information received and other public information in the media and social networks about the business activities of government officials, which revealed that a number of government officials are founders or have shares in business entities.

As a result of the measures taken by the Agency to eliminate identified conflicts of interest, the entrepreneurial activities of the following officials have been suppressed: the General Director of SUE Central Securities Depository, the head of the Mirobod District Administration, the head of the National Anti-Doping Agency, the Director of the Main Center of Informatization, the head of the Buston District Administration, the Director of UE National PR Center, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency.
